I need the help of some leftist/anarchist programmers

The reason I ask, is because I need someone's help with a project, and they'd be much more likely to help if they agreed with what I was trying to do with it.

I'm a member of the Freespace coaliton. We are a Toronto based coalition of autonamour project group that have a collectivised, money free economy.

Or at least we're trying to be. For now there are only a few groups, and not much money, nor many resources... but we're growing.

What I mean by project group, is a collective working on building, or doing one specific thing. For example, the most prominent project group in the coalition at the time is the Freespace Soundsystem. We put on underground raves, usually for free, in the abandoned spaces of the city. Others groups are the Scavangers/builders collective (wich consists of some of the same members as the soundsystem) wich builds neat stuff out of junk, like the giant Yurt that we sometimes set up for our raves, and the Community Zine (pretty self explanatory)...

There are other groups, but I think you get the picture.

you can check out more at www.freespace.cc

Now, What we need, is a program that will help all of the different groups stay connected online, but beyond that, implement the non-heiarchical structure that we're trying to implement. It's less important now, but as we grow, especially as we grow to include more and more members that are not immediately in touch in person, we'll need this program to keep the whole organisation running, especially as, since it's not meant to have a head of any real kind, (although there are some randomly selected adminitrators for some things) the only structure the system will have at all, will be that wich is hardwired into a software program.

So, I'm looking for someone to help me either use an existing program (if there is one that can do the job) or perhaps build one for us to use. I really can't do this myself, because I don't have the time, nor do I have the knowhow. Neither does anyone else in the group at the moment. But there must be people out there who can do it, and agree enough with what we're doing to try.

So... here's a list of what it is that I need the program to do... in short form. If anyone's interested in taking this project on, I'll fll you in on more from there.

A) (Membership)

allows groups to sign up for the coalition.
-prompts for - name of group, 3 peoples' names, e-mail adresses, inventory of tools used, lcoation of members

maintains list of all members

B) (Funding council)

allows groups to fill out pre-formatted funding request form. (asking the coalition for funding)

picks funding council (wich gives out money to groups), monthly, randomly from list of all members of all groups in coalition
-allows council to reveiew funding requests
-allows council to allot funds to requests from tresury
-allows council to review previous finances of Coalition

C) (Tribunal)

allows all members to call for tribunal investigation
-prompts for type of investigation (1 expell individual,2 expell group,3 allow group extra individuals,4 assign group as central communal industry,5 other investigation)
-Prompts for investigation location (to pick members close to investigation)
-picks tribunal randomly from list of members, notifies by e-mail
prompts tribunal for results, autmatically carries out results for options 1,2,3,4
-notifies all community of tribunal results

D) Finances

Allows central Trade Organisation to pick or change Project group representatives, and central representatives
allows representatives to add budget changes to their field. imputting ammounts into the seperate budgets of the project groups, or of coalition wide product lists.

Example:

June 5th - expenses - Gasoline
Freespace soundsystem - 20 litres - $18.00
Heating Collective - 10 litres - $9.00
Lawn Maintenace commitiee - 10 litres - 9.00

Gasoline total - june 5th - 40 lites - $36.00

-OR-

June 5th - expenss - Freespace Soundsystem
Gasoline - 20 lites - $18.00
Maintenece - Gennie - $102.00
Wire, audio - 65.00
Wire, electrical - 18.00

Soundsystem total - $201.00

expenses and revenue to be entered dayly as they happen

program maintains database of expenses and revenue based both on products and project groups.

Allows interested parties to see both what project groups are spending what kind of money and on what, and what products are being purchased by why and for how much.

Also allows to see what products are being sold by who and for how much as well as what project groups are making what money, and on what products.

fincanes to be displayed in monthly ledgers, and yearly ledgers. Commuinity members to have acess to both, univited guests to have acess only to yearly budhgets.

E) Resource Sharing

Each project group to select member who is to maintain online an inventory of all products produced, available for sale, or for free internal distribution.

Each project group free to create or join 1 guild. Guild votes for 1 person to maintain list of guild capital resources for all groups in guild (ie, speakers, generator, or ie portable saw mill, hand tools, power tools, etc)

person to be notified by e-mail of any changes to sytatus, guild free to elect new rep whenever votes change.

Both product and capital resouce lists to be accesable to everyone in coalition or outside of it.

(F) Communication

-people responsible for certain tasks are e-mailed prompts to go online and do task.

- monthly e-mail is sent out listing funding council, results of tribunals, and public announcements afterwords all at once, that anyonce can enter over the course of the month.

- individuals can send messages to groups, like project groups, guilds, funding councils, tribunals, etc... Program selns e-mails to everyone autmatically, person only selects group to send to.

-person can create poll (vote on issue), members prompted to vote or add and option. When time expires or everyone votes (prompted as they log on) everyone is e-mailed the results immediately.

(G) Interface

Functioning a lot like... perhaps an old BBS... A person logs on with a password, is given access to whatever functions they are responsible to do / have access too (funding council options, tribunal results, project group production imput, finances, etc)

does buisness, is prompted with new duties/queries for imput when neccicary, and loggsoff.

Prompted by e-mail to attend to duties as they come up, prompted again of duties as logging in.

Messages are sent by e-mail, but prompted to check e-mail when logging on, every time new messages sent.

So... yeah... There might actually be a program that could do this... Wich would be nice... but there may not be...

Can someone please help with this. This computer program is kina the make-or-break of this project here... without it, there is no coalition.
