Sun Microsystems made Solaris 10 free for all uses quite some time ago (you can download the SPARC or x84 version from : www.sun.com/software/solaris/get.jsp)... And somewhat more recently, it's now been made available with an open source license directly downloadable in source, binary, or through the CVS source browser at www.opensolaris.org/ ... this is cool stuff!
